About Barbara

As a singer-songwriter, she loves creating soulful and dreamy melodies mixed with experimental and progressive harmonies and beats. Her life full of music, singing, acting, performing and most of all touching people with her voice and music has always been at the core of her creative activities. This feeling reached its first peak with her first band "Barbara Motive" (2012-2019), which she founded while studying jazz singing at the MUK University in Vienna. This band gave her a lot of songwriting, bandleading and stage experience which she now uses in her work as a solo artist.

Barbara’s songs are inspired by her reflections on deep personal emotions, social values and norms, self-discovery and consciousness, or in other words, by moments in life that simply move her heart.

She is currently working on her first album as a solo artist with pianist and producer Angel Vassilev.
